MEET MRS. TURBA

Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Amy Turba and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher! This will be my 6th year at Sage Canyon and 12th total year teaching. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2003. I began my teaching career in Illinois before moving to Colorado in 2010.  I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and respected. My greatest joy in teaching is connecting with my students and building relationships with them.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband, Joe, son, Connor (12), and daughter, Callie (9). We love to play games, watch movies, and have get togethers with friends. I love to read and if it's out by a pool, even better!
